S2z response: One of the short-comings of the Z32, is cooling capability when extra horsepower is extracted.
The aluminum close-out panels separate the incoming airflow, and direct that air into the radiator more effectively.
What I haven't shown is the aluminum closeouts for the ICs.

Even though many members of this forum hate the front body kit that I chose, there were specific reasons for the Invader II kit selection.
The modifications that were done are not readily apparent, and clean-up the airflow going to IC's.

Again, what I have done with MY ride may not be everyone's cup of tea. So what?
I haven't flamed anyone (yet) for restoring and adding a few performance enhancements to their ride.

Ted wrote: "with your air filters that low and exposed, you run a MUCH higher risk or sucking water into your system"

S2z response: The air filters are mounted in the radiator opening specificly to take advantage of the Ram Air effect.
Since I do NOT drive this car on a daily basis, and that the real intent for use is participating in car club track days, well, I think you get the picture...

Ted Wrote: "please explain why you polished the aluminum bumper brace... you do know it's not supposed to be seen right?"

S2z response: I polished the bumper brace because when the center "grill" panel is removed, you can see it.
With the polished Alclad close-out panels, and the polished Alclad Air Filter brackets, seemed fitting to polish the bumper brace as well.
